How to get Khora in Warframe

The lass with the lash. Khora and her feline companion are a deadly duo.

A popular Warframe. You’ll most probably be using her augment Pilfering Strangledome to make Khora a great lootframe to use in survivals and defenses to really help speed up your materials farm.

How do I get Khora’s parts?

Khora is slightly different to a lot of the other Warframe you’ve probably come across. Instead of having to kill a boss over and over, Khora parts are found in Sanctuary Onslaught (SO). However, this doesn’t include Elite Sanctuary Onslaught (ESO).

What is Sanctuary Onslaught?

Sanctuary Onslaught is a mission type given to us by Cephalon SImaris. The sole aim is to keep the efficiency meter up, if it drops to zero, the mission will fail.

The only way to keep the efficiency meter up is to kill enemies. You/your group needs to kill enemies as fast as possible to keep the meter up, this is why nuke frames are so strongly recommended.

Each round in Sanctuary Onslaught lasts for 2 minutes 30 seconds. Keep the efficiency meter up for this time and a portal to the next round will open, go through it to do the same again in a different area, and so on.

In Sanctuary Onslaught, every two rounds you survive is equal to 1 rotation, following the usual AABC cycle. For example, the first reward is at round 2, then round 4, round 6 and round 8.

When you want to leave, for instance after completing round 8, instead of going through the portal, don’t. Stay in the area you’re already in. You should notice a timer pop up and Simaris will probably start shouting at you. Ignore all this and let the timer expire, this will take you to the mission end screen. Don’t, however, use the leave squad feature to leave the mission as this will remove all your rewards.

There is no defined end to Sanctuary Onslaught so it’s possible to keep going after round 8, but this means facing increasingly harder enemies just to get another AABC cycle. This is why it’s generally recommended to just extract after the reward from round 8, so after a full AABC cycle, then run the mission again.

What are the drop chances like?

Now, to get every piece of Khora you’ll need, you’ll have to run SO a LOT. Each piece can only be dropped as a reward from each different rotation.

Here’s a breakdown of which parts can drop on which rotations:

A Rotations (rounds 2 and 4):

  • Khora Chassis Blueprint – 8.33% chance to drop

B Rotations (round 6):

  • Khora Neuroptics Blueprint – 9.09% chance to drop

C Rotations (round 8):

  • Khora main Blueprint – 11.28% chance to drop
  • Khora Systems Blueprint – 11.28% chance to drop

Can I speed up this farm?

There’s a couple of things you can do to make farming for Khora a tad easier.

Firstly, run public SO missions. Being able to matchmake with other players reduces the work you have to do significantly, doubly so if you manage to group with a nuke frame, or can take a nuke frame yourself.

Secondly, bring a nuke frame if you have one. Warframe’s like Saryn, legerdemain Mirage, Equinox, heck, even Octavia. Any frame with good damage potential will make running SO much less stressful. You won’t have to rely as much on your team to kill and are much more capable of maintaining efficiency by yourself. Failing that, bring a good buffing frame like Rhino and spam roar to help the rest of your team deal more damage.

If completing rounds isn’t an issue for you though, you can take some unlevelled equipment in and level it up while farming, get some mastery points at the same time.

I’ve got all the parts, now what?

Congratulations, assuming you’ve also got a nice stockpile of resources, you can head over to the foundry and start crafting the pieces.

In total, you’ll need:

Once you have all that, finally, you can craft Khora’s pieces, wait 12hrs (an age), collect them from the foundry, and start building Khora. 72hrs later and voila, your own whippy lass.
