Hey there, looks like you’re on the hunt for some Alloy Plates. This valuable crafting resource is used in a variety of in-game blueprints, so it’s always a good idea to keep your inventory well-stocked. Don’t fret! We’ve got you covered. Here’s a quick and handy guide on how to farm Alloy Plates efficiently in Warframe.
Choose Your Location Wisely
Alloy Plates are pretty common, but if you’re looking to max out your stash, you’ll want to head to certain planets. Venus, Sedna, Pluto, Ceres, and Jupiter are the hotspots for this resource. My personal favorite is Ceres, ‘Gabii.’ It’s a Dark Sector survival mission, which gives you a 35% resource drop rate bonus. More drop rate, more Alloy Plates!
Let’s take a closer look at where exactly you should be heading to make the most of your Alloy Plate farming.
- Gabii on Ceres: This is a Dark Sector Survival mission that gives a 35% resource drop rate bonus. Survival missions are excellent for farming because the longer you stay, the more enemies spawn, giving you more chances for that sweet loot.
- Hieracon on Pluto: Another Dark Sector mission, Hieracon is an Excavation mission with a 35% resource drop rate bonus. Excavation missions are good because they spawn a lot of enemies quickly, giving you more chances for Alloy Plates. Plus, you can also score some Cryotic while you’re at it!
- Paimon on Europa: This is a Dark Sector Defense mission with a resource drop rate bonus. Defense missions are also great for farming, as waves of enemies will continuously come at you. Set up in a good spot, let the enemies come to you, and reap the rewards.
- Kiliken on Venus: It’s an early game Excavation mission and a great place to start for newer players who might not have access to the later planets yet.
Best Warframes for Farming Alloy plates
Nekros: When it comes to resource farming, you can never go wrong with Nekros and his ‘Desecrate’ ability. This skill gives slain enemies a second chance to drop loot. Double the chances, double the drops.
Hydroid: This squiddy Warframe is another solid choice, thanks to his ‘Pilfering Swarm’ augment. Enemies caught in Hydroid’s tentacles have a 100% chance to drop additional loot.
Khora: The whip-wielding Khora, with her ‘Pilfering Strangledome’ augment, is another excellent choice. Enemies caught in the Strangledome have a chance to drop extra loot upon death, meaning more Alloy Plates for you.

Bring Your Friends
Warframe is more fun with friends, and it’s more efficient, too! The more players in a squad, the more enemies spawn. And we all know what more enemies mean: more loot drops! So get your squad together, and don’t forget to share the Alloy Plates.
Resource Boosters
If you’re willing to invest a little Platinum, Resource Boosters can double the amount of Alloy Plates you collect. They might cost a bit, but the time saved can be well worth it, especially during a dedicated farming session. Resource drop chance boosters are also available to purchase but its really down to personal preference which booster you do for. Personally, I much prefer the resource booster.
Bring a Smeeta Kavat
If you have a Smeeta Kavat, bring it along for the ride. Their Charm ability can provide a temporary boost to resource drops. Remember, every little bit helps!
